We are at an ice rink. A young professional skater dressed in a one-piece Lycra suit is crouched in a corner, lit by a spotlight, waiting to perform his number.
The music begins, and more lights illuminate the rink. The skater moves towards the centre of the rink, entertaining us with delightful pirouettes as he advances. He spreads his arms and goes to join his partner on the ice. His partner enters: she is…a tall, white and beautiful…fridge-freezer.
The fridge-freezer glides toward him, he circles it and twirls it round…on one of the turns the door opens, whereupon the skater seizes the opportunity, takes it by the handle and they advance together across the ice, as pairs of skaters do…
