The aim of the 2011 campaign is to further strengthen and refresh the image of 11888.

Once again, Paco León shares the spotlight with the Pelochos, who help him out of different situations in a fun way.

The previous campaign in 2010 resulted in increased brand awareness compared to the one before that in 2009, and this success made it an easy choice to have Paco León star in this latest round of advertisements too.

The campaign was developed by McCann Erickson and has three TV commercials of 20 seconds each: "Rap", "Margaret" and "Spinning".

2010 - 11888 advertising

The campaign for 11888 featuring the Pelochos continues, with the aim of strengthening the image of 11888 and the features of efficiency and quality of service.

In previous campaigns featuring the Pelochos, the friendly red furry creatures accounted for almost all of the attention, but these advertisements are a break from tradition and feature a celebrity in the shape of Spanish comic actor Paco León.

Paco’s quality as a performer is beyond doubt and in this campaign Paco the Pelochos make a great team.

The campaign, developed by McCann Erickson has two 10 second and two 20 second executions. They are titled ‘Suitcase’, ‘Cough’, ‘Passport’ and ‘Goal’.

May 2009 – Paginasamarillas.es advertising

The campaign for the Paginasamarillas.es website aims to promote a brand that was previously recognised more as a printed directory. The advertising demonstrates the modernity, efficiency and speed of the service as well as the fact that the website can be used to help with all kinds of online information needs. Animated characters are seen in two of the commercials searching for a hotel and an adventure holiday. A third – Ali Baba – promotes the Paginasamarillas.es mobile site.

May 2009 – 11888 advertising

The advertising for 11888 features the ‘Pelochos’ puppet characters, who have helped to build the 11888 brand over a period of more than five years. In fact the Pelochos have become so popular themselves that they even have their own website, which you can visit at www.mondopelocho.com.

June 2008 – 11888 advertising

Previously the Pelochos’ adventures lead them to calling the telephone directory service to help them out in whatever situation they found themselves in. This campaign, however, finds them on the other end of the telephone as they take the role of an operator, coming to the rescue of callers looking for advice to help them on their way.

Páginas Amarillas advertising

The theme of the Páginas Amarillas TV advertising campaign is Happy Encounters. The adverts feature people in surreal situations where they end up looking for goods and services.

In one advert a skater is dancing on ice, waiting for his partner to enter the arena. He spots his partner and skates over, arms held open to greet her. His partner turns out to be… a fridge! The strapline highlights several different classifications that can be found within the Páginas Amarillas directory, such as electrical appliances, dance and skates.

Another advert centres on a woman walking through a park. She checks the time, adjusts the flower in her jacket lapel, and then looks up with a smile on her face. She has just spotted her date… a lift! Again, the strapline highlights different classifications that can be found within the Páginas Amarillas directory, this time lifts, florists and landscaping.
