Our main products are printed directories, which offer business-to-consumer and business-to-business classified directory advertising. In the UK these are our Yellow Pages and Business Pages directories, in the US our Yellowbook directories and in Spain our Paginas Amarillas directories. In Argentina, Chile and Peru these directories are known by local brand names.
We also offer:
- ‘White pages’ directories - alphabetical listings of residential and business numbers, in Spain, Chile and Argentina
- Europages - a directory of professionals and companies operating on a European scale, sold by our Yell Publicidad operation in Spain
- Other professional publications and specialist magazines in Spain and Latin America
The web - our online products
We offer online advertising and search, primarily through websites based around our printed directories, but with the additional facilities and flexibility offered by the online medium. Our key websites include Yell.com (UK), yellowbook.com (US), PaginasAmarillas.es (Spain), PaginasDoradas.com (Argentina), Amarillas.cl (Chile) and PaginasAmarillas.com.pe (Peru). Online facilities are also available through mobile telephony, and in Spain and some of our Latin American countries we offer specialised websites for information on restaurants and hotels, as well as sites featuring detailed maps.
The phone – our voice products
Yell Group offers directory assistance services in a number of countries. We offer a 118 24 7 telephone directory service in the UK, a 11 888 service in Spain and a similar service in Chile.
