Yell Publicidad (previously TPI) began its activity in 1967, and is now the leading provider of directory services in Spain.

Yell Publicidad's main business is the sale of printed classified directory advertising. Its principal products are Páginas Amarillas and Páginas Blancas. Other printed products are Páginas Amarillas para el Coche (Yellow Pages for the car), and a business to business (“NAN”) guide specialising in the construction sector.

Yell Publicidad publishes 125 directory titles in Spain, with distribution exceeding 30 million copies.

Over the last few years, Yell Publicidad has evolved into a multi-product company. Its commercial strategy ensures it adapts its products and services in line with new technologies. Yell Publicidad has rapidly developed a strong internet presence, offering both online yellow pages and online white pages, as well as specialised sites such as an A-Z street guide, and guides specialising in hotels and restaurants. Yell Publicidad is also a pioneer in the development of useful content for new communication channels, such as WAP and Personal Digital Assistants (PDA).

Yell Publicidad was the first company to take advantage of the liberalisation of the telephone information services in February 2002, enabling it to position its 11 888 service at the forefront of the market. Today, Yell Publicidad is one of the main market leaders in the sector, with close to 27 million calls handled in the eight months to 31 March 2007.
