Supplier forum
On June 18 2008, we held our annual supplier forum at the Millennium Madejski Hotel, Reading.Senior managers from our business took the opportunity to network with our key suppliers and further strengthen working relationships. A presentation covering group performance, corporate responsibility and marketing was given and John Satchwell, our Operations Director, addressed delegates with a keynote speech.

At the forum we presented the first Yell Supplier awards to recognise those suppliers who have gone that extra mile during the last year.
There were two categories - Service excellence and Continuous improvement and innovation - and each featured a winner and a runner up selected by Yell’s UK executive management team. Around 50 nominations were originally received from Yell people throughout our UK business, before a shortlist was complied ahead of the awards presentation.
Service excellence category
