Yellow Pages directory recycling made easier in Trafford - 15 August 2006
Householders in Trafford are being urged by Trafford Council to recycle their old 2005/06 Yellow Pages directory when the new 2006/07 edition is delivered to their doors over the next few weeks.The council has been given a grant by the Yellow Pages Directory Recycling Scheme to place special recycling banks around the borough and make it easier for local residents to recycle their old Yellow Pages directory.
Householders are to look out for the recycling banks with bright Yellow Pages stickers on them at the following locations from August 21, 2006 for four weeks:
- B&Q at Trafford Park, Redclyffe Road
- Jubilee Community Centre, The Firs, Bowden
All the old directories collected will be recycled into tissue paper products.
Executive Councillor Mrs June Reilly, said: “Thanks to the support of Yellow Pages we are delighted to be offering new directory recycling opportunities to our residents. I encourage everyone to use these facilities over the next few weeks.”
