Yell.com, lead sponsor of Planet Internet at the BBC Tomorrow’s World Live Event, will today offer visitors the chance to experience its new-look consumer and business-to-business portal.

Initially, a new logo, Home Page and Search Results pages have been introduced which will be followed over the coming weeks by completely new business and content guides. Visitors to the stand will be able to surf the information super-highway and try out the new improved Yell.com site, which will help find information quickly and easily.

Visitors can sample a whole host of attractions including live entertainment, interactive scenarios, games, competitions and give-aways, including the chance for one lucky person to win a brand new, bright yellow VW Beetle courtesy of Yell.com-visit www.yellforabeetle.com to enter.

TV personality, Gail Porter will be unveiling Yell.com’s stand and will be enjoying smoothies at the Yell.com bar and giving some hints about where she goes to find all her favourite web sites.

Gail’s appearance coincides with Yell.com’s recent launch of a major research project entitled the ‘Science of Finding Things’ - which reveals that we spend a year of our lives hunting for lost keys, address books and even pets!

Nigel Marson, Yell.com’s marketing communications controller, explains: "Despite technological advances to help us find, file and organise things, it may actually be advances of the 21st Century that are causing us to lose them. The fast pace of modern society means we have more things to lose and more places in which to find them".

The sponsorship of Planet Internet is part of a multi-million pound marketing blitz by Yell.com. This year will see Yell.com’s first TV advertisement.
