Yellow Pages Toasts Award Winners - 22 June 2000

Sponsors Yellow Pages are pleased to announce that Tinsley Foods are the winners of the 1999 Alan Taylor PDS Implementation Award.

The results were confirmed at The British Computer Society Professional Development Scheme (PDS) National Forum, attended by organisations from across the UK that use the BCS scheme in the professional development of IT staff.

Simon Eagle, PDS Co-ordinator, collected the award on behalf of Tinsley Foods and the PDS participants and sponsors within the company. He had this to say: "I am particularly pleased with our success in integrating PDS with our company's I.T. staff appraisal, Investors in People and business project control practices. Our business benefits from having well-motivated staff who have a clear vision of their career development path within the organisation. PDS is a cornerstone in delivering this vision. I look forward to building upon our early successes in using PDS."

On behalf of the sponsors, Isobel Brimelow, IS Quality Manager, added: "Yellow Pages congratulates Simon and Tinsley Foods on achieving the 1999 Alan Taylor PDS Implementation Award. We also look forward to continuing our good relationship with the BCS in the new millennium."
