Yell launches new outdoor creative campaign - 12 December 2001
Yell, the international directories business, is to launch a new outdoor advertising creative from the middle of this month, raising awareness of its multi-channel capability via Yellow Pages, Yell.com and Talking Pages. The new creative continues to communicate the ‘Three ways to get what you want’ message by bringing the separate brand logos to life through different illustrations of four key classifications: restaurants, florists, hotels and estate agents.
The new advertisements will feature on 50 taxis across London - on the exterior and interior flip-seats - and on 45 x 48 poster sheets across the country, including sites in Manchester, Birmingham, Reading, Bristol, Slough and Southampton. They will also feature on the sides of 18 buses in Reading, the location of Yell’s headquarters.
John Condron, chief executive of Yell, said: "We have integrated our outdoor advertising activity with our television campaign and London Underground sponsorship campaign to strengthen our core consumer message: that there are three ways to get what you want through ‘the book, the phone and the net’.
