Yell launches new Yellow Pages 118 24 7 creative through London Underground sponsorship - 18 January 2005

Yell is extending its long standing sponsorship of the London Underground with a new ‘pocket map’ creative for Yellow Pages 118 24 7. The creative, which is being rolled out on more than 16 million pocket and more than one thousand station maps, aims to strengthen 118 24 7’s link with its sister brand ‘Yellow Pages’.

Yell first linked with the London Underground in 1998 and has used the sponsorship of all maps and route planners as an ongoing medium to target commuters with brand and product messages. The new creative positions Yellow Pages 118 24 7 as ‘like Yellow Pages but on the phone’.

Jason Smith, senior product manager for Yellow Pages 118 24 7 said: “Consumer research revealed that our users want us to further highlight the association between 118 24 7 and Yellow Pages. The London Underground is an ideal platform to deliver this message for 118 24 7 as it is already recognised by consumers as a ‘Yellow Pages’ owned space.”
