Yellow Pages 118 24 7 named ‘Best UK 118 Service’ for second year running - 12 September 2005

Yellow Pages 118 24 7 has scooped the title of ‘Best UK 118 Service’ for the second year running in the leading international awards for the directory enquiries industry.

It beat other leading service providers in the second International Directory Enquiries/Assistance Awards, organised by the independent Performance House service monitor 118tracker.com.

The win caps another successful year for 118 24 7’s development following the deregulation of the UK 192 directory enquiries service in 2003. It reflects the service’s depth of business information, the consistent performance for service excellence as well as quality and performance management.

The service has topped the Performance House monthly ‘mystery shopper’ results for service and quality in nine of the last 12 months.

The award was judged by a panel of experts representing the 118 sector, consumer bodies and research groups and presented at a special awards evening at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester.
