Yellow Book acquires Philadelphia area directory - 13 December 2006

Consumers in Roxborough and Manayunk to benefit by purchase.

Yellow Book USA, the nation’s oldest and largest independent publisher of yellow pages directories, announced today that it has purchased the Roxborough - Manayunk - East Falls - Lafayette Hill Directory from Rabelo Advertising, Inc.

With this acquisition, Yellow Book will provide a local directory for consumers who live near Main Street and along Ridge Pike from East Falls to Lafayette Hill. This directory will complement the many successful existing Yellow Book directories that are already well known throughout the Philadelphia region.

As with other Yellow Book directories, this directory will be rich with buying information, and will be localized with the area consumer in mind.

“Our philosophy is to put the end user first,” said Joe Walsh, Yellow Book’s CEO. “This is an example of Yellow Book’s commitment to providing relevant information and choices for our users.”

Yellow Book also offers consumers the option to search online for local businesses with www.yellowbook.com, one of the fastest growing websites in the nation for local buying information.

Yellow Book currently publishes 46 directories throughout Pennsylvania with a distribution of more than 6 million copies to area homes and businesses. Yellow Book also makes King of Prussia, Pennsylvania home to regional offices with approximately 680 employees.
