Yell appoints user development director in the UK - 26 June 2007
Yell, the international directories business, today announced the appointment of Clodagh Ward to a new senior marketing post that includes responsibility for brand promotion and product programmes for driving usage of its UK products and services.Clodagh joins Yell as UK user development director on July 2, reporting directly to the UK’s chief marketing officer Helen Stevenson. She takes up the new post after a very successful career at H J Heinz Company where most recently she was marketing director of the UK Ketchup & Sauces unit.
Clodagh will head up a user development team with responsibility for developing and implementing strategies and plans for driving usage of Yell’s UK brands, including product development and communications.
Her appointment follows the promotion of Catherine Kehoe to a new post of
UK advertiser development director, with responsibility for delivering continuing value to Yell's advertisers through the strategy, planning and development of customer propositions. The move is part of a restructuring to further develop Yell’s UK marketing strategy. Previously, Catherine, who continues to report into Helen Stevenson, was head of marketing communications and strategy in the UK.

She has very strong experience in the fast moving consumer goods sector and a significant track record of developing robust strategies for delivering growth across the UK, European and global arenas. Clodagh, a graduate in Food Science from Leeds University, joined Heinz in 1990 where she progressed to hold a number of senior marketing roles.
These included general marketing manager of the European Condiments unit and general marketing manager at UK Babyfood. She became marketing director of the UK Ketchup & Sauces unit in 2002, a role she held for more than four years.
