Yellow Book USA names Patrick Marshall Chief New Media Officer - 24 July 2007
Yellow Book USA, a leading national yellow pages and online local search company, announced today that Patrick Marshall has joined the company as Chief New Media Officer. In this role, Marshall will assume operating responsibility for Yellow Book’s new media products, including yellowbook.com and search engine advertising.Marshall has spent more than 28 years in marketing leadership positions, including as a senior executive with Verizon, Frontier Corporation and R. H. Donnelley. At Verizon, Marshall led the launch and management of SuperPages.com. Most recently, Marshall served as president of PJM Strategy Consulting LLC, an Internet and marketing strategy consultancy.
Marshall is a recognized pioneer in the online directory industry. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous new media initiatives, including mobile device applications, speech-based search services, and digital information services development. Marshall was the first recipient of The Kelsey Group’s New Technologies Leadership Award in 2002.

Marshall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Rider University. He has served on the boards of directors of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Information Industry Association, the board of trustees of The Marketing Science Institute, and the University of Texas at Arlington e-Commerce advisory board. He has also served on the boards of directors of WebVisible and AgendiZe.
