Yellow Book acquires three directories in central California - 20 December 2006
Acquisition increases state-wide coverage.Yellow Book USA, the nation’s #1 independent publisher of yellow pages, announced today the acquisition of three directories serving central California from Star S Publishing. The acquired directories include the Visalia Community Directory, the Hanford/Lemoore Community Directory and the Tulare Community Directory. In total, more than 140,000 copies will be delivered to homes and businesses.
This purchase will add to Yellow Book’s significant presence in the state of California, where Yellow Book publishes 103 directories with a circulation of more than 13.7 million. Yellow Book’s 75-plus year history of publishing consumer-focused directories will provide the “Sequoia Valley” residents with the same user-friendly, content-rich buying information, including coupons, maps and restaurant menus, that are hallmarks of the brand.
